About the Garden
Wellness University and the South Sacramento Green Team brought South Sacramento’s first Employee Garden in the summer of 2013, unveiled at our employee Earth Day event. The garden is located next to Physician Parking Lot 16, behind the Dan B. Moore building.
The garden features 16 plots measuring 8’ x 8’, available for physician and staff member use for gardening almost any fruit, vegetable or plant. Plots are maintained by individuals or a group, giving plot owners the opportunity to grow their own fresh produce. Anything they grow, they keep!
