Introducing KP SAC TANK, the Greater Sacramento version of Shark Tank!
South Sacramento, it’s your turn! Do you have an innovative idea that could improve efficiencies or sustainability, eliminate waste, make better use of the capacity of our building, or engage our employees and member in a new and meaningful way? During Health Care Appreciation Week, June 9-13, you, as the health care “entrepreneur,” may have a chance to pitch your idea to executive leaders, − a panel of “sharks” – to convince them to invest in it. Problem Statement:
The problem statement should clearly define the issue or challenge that your idea aims to address with a possible solution. It should provide context and background information to help the judges understand the significance of the problem and the efficiencies / cost savings involved. Be sure to include specific details and data to support your claims. For example, if your idea is focused on improving a process, describe the current inefficiencies and their impact on the organization. If it’s a new concept, explain the gap or need that it fills. Utilizing A3 thinking, a stepwise methodical process based on the scientific method, the goal is to make a compelling case for why your idea is necessary and how it will benefit Kaiser Permanente employees or members and align with our mission.
